Project Jude
When you want someone, where do you draw the line between right and wrong?
Jude is a dual POV set directly after events in Project Evan. While it is an interconnected standalone, I do recommend reading Evan first.
A steamy, forbidden love is only the beginning, as these two process trauma that no young adult should have to endure.
Jude: I'm numb. It's better than angry, and far better than throwing punches like I used to. But a darkness eats at my soul, and no matter what I do to make up for the past, it will never be enough. So when a guest lecturer makes a student cry in the middle of class, I jump to her defense. It's obvious she's been through hell.
I get it, so have I. But she becomes my alarm clock, and I come alive whenever she's near. I want to pry her open and heal her wounds, but even if Isabella's walls weren't enough of an issue, our student/teacher relationship is.
I would've preferred to stay numb rather than pine over someone I can't have.
